2016 Star Party schedule is up!
Another year and another 12 great Star Parties for all of you to enjoy. If you enjoy attending our Star Parties please tell your friends and family. 2015 saw the largest amount of visitors we've had to our programs in our 30 years of existence. We couldn't have done it without you all, thank you! Let's see if we can have another record breaking year.

Lick Summer Program Nearly Sold Out
The Lick Observatory Summer Series is nearly sold out. Check online at ucolick.org/summer for tickets to the last available dates.
Lick Observatory Summer Series
The 35th Lick Summer Series is now live. Ticket are still available for the Music of the Spheres and Evening with the Stars programs. Enjoy musical performances, history and science lectures, viewing through both the 36in Great Lick Refractor and the 40in Nickel Reflector plus amateur telescopes in the back for viewing. Full details and tickets are available on the Lick Observatory website.
Be sure to look for HVAG members at the events. Many of volunteer to staff the events. If you are interested in volunteering please contact us at lick@hallsvalley.org.

Newly Redesigned Website
We here at the Halls Valley Astronomical Group are pleased to present our newly redesigned website. When hallsvalley.org went live 20 years ago, we were one of the first amateur astronomical groups to appear online. This new site will go a long way to ensuring HVAG's continued service to the public for many more years to come. With it, we will have a greater ability to reach the public and increase our membership size.
Any and all suggestions for improving the site are welcome and desired.
